I bought this book just before going on a road trip, and my daughter and I spent 2 days in the car oohing and aahing over all the gorgeous quilts. Then we bought some fabric, and started making sample blocks. The blocks take a little effort, but are well worth it, and the directions are very good. I highly recommend the clearview triangle ruler and the qtools corner cut 60 tool to help you make the blocks. I did 2 of the flower petal blocks, and added some extra triangle blocks to the edges to make them into a lap quilt. I received many compliments on that quilt! I look forward to making many more of the quilts in this book.
