Repairing Seams – Pressed to One Side

If you have broken seams that were pressed to one side, here is the best way to repair them so that the seam is invisible…using an applique stitch. Marci shows the process in detail and up close.

      Yes this is the way that I applique pieces. I know that some people are more comfortable holding their work as you mentioned. If you are not happy with your applique, try holding it the way I am. I feel like I can see the edge of the fabric better this way. Whichever way works best for you is what you need to do.
